AUDITION BOOT CAMP
(Ages 16 & Up)
Never audition again! Seriously…From this point forward your auditioning days are over. Sound too good to be true? It doesn’t have to be. The audition process is a necessary event that you attend in order to get that much closer to what you really want to do…PERFORM! Learn how to make the most of your audition performance by choosing the right material, sharpening your presentation skills, dressing appropriately, knowing your type or your type for the moment, taking risks and unleashing your unique spirit. Come to understand that YOU have a contribution to make and the real you is valuable and/or necessary for many different projects.

TWO SESSIONS (3-4 hours each)
Monologue Madness
(Ages 16 & Up)
In this class we will focus on choosing the right monologue for YOU plus script analysis, character development, creative visualization and encouragement to discover logical character behavior. Emphasis will also be made on vocal and physical flexibility; further strengthening the actor's vocal process while developing power, clarity and resonance through physical relaxation, vocal exercises and use of the monologue's text.

EIGHT SESSIONS (90 minutes each)
scene study success
(Ages 16 & Up)
Work in a setting that emulates a true rehearsal process starting with table work, then staging and finally polishing the scene for presentation. Learn how to bring a scene to "LIFE" through fundamentals of script analysis, intense character development, objectives and actions within a scene and working from a foundation of honesty and commitment while making bold, unique, interesting choices. In addition to basic technique; there will also be work in improvisation, moment-to-moment, subtext, inner monologue and a final presentation for invited guests.

EIGHT SESSIONS (90 minutes each)
on-camera overview
(Ages 16 & Up)
Working on the acting craft, both artistically and technically, in front of the camera; performers make the transition from stage to screen. Performers explore the physical, emotional and vocal techniques necessary for an energized, focused and creative on-camera performance using script analysis, monologues, exercises and scene work. The curriculum emphasizes on-camera technique in both single and multi-camera performance. Full preparation for all class work without rehearsal is required.
Participants walk away with examples of their work for use online and for professional submissions.

College Audition prep
(High School Juniors & Seniors)
A combination of the AUDITION BOOT CAMP and the MONOLOGUE MADNESS classes, COLLEGE AUDITION PREP prepares high school juniors and seniors for the rigorous conservatory audition season. The class will help students with all the required materials; from monologues to musical theatre songs. Participants will, with the help of the instructor, be responsible for finding their own material and learn how to craft an exemplary audition package which they can use in any circumstance.

Participants walk away with examples of their work for use online and for digital college submissions.

TEN SESSIONS (90 minutes each)
SENIORS SCENE STUDY
(Ages 65+)
Much like our SCENE STUDY SUCCESS class, we will work in a setting that emulates a true rehearsal process while using age appropriate material for stage, film, TV and commercials. We'll start with table work, then move on to staging and finally polish the scene for a LIVE presentation.
Learn how to bring a scene to "life" through fundamentals of script analysis, intense character development, objectives and actions within a scene and working from a foundation of honesty and commitment while making bold, unique, interesting choices. All experience levels from beginners to professionals are welcome.
