This summer, THEATREMAKERS is delighted to partner with LAUDERHILL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER to present this inaugural summer theatre opportunity. Our camp will give students the chance to shine in an immersive, project-based exploration of theatre-making.
Students spend their days training with our team of theatre professionals, working towards performances in LPAC's state-of-the-art theater which includes lights, sound, costumes, projections - THE WORKS!
In addition to performances of The Lion King JR., a 60-minute adaptation created especially for the strengths and skill level of elementary/middle school students, The Lion King Experience includes a rigorous 18-session curriculum that explores the fundamentals of theatre-making including Acting, Design, Music, Playwriting, Choreography, Directing, Technical Theatre, Stage Management and More.
Our location, within 5 minutes from the Florida Turnpike, along with our Before and After Care program, makes THEATREMAKERS SUMMER THEATRE ACADEMY the perfect fit for working parents.

CAMP WILL NOT RUN IF MINIMUM NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS IS NOT MET.
NEITHER THEATREMAKERS NOR LAUDERHILL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER OFFERS REFUNDS, AFTER PURCHASE, FOR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING.
IF THEATREMAKERS OR LAUDERHILL PERFORMING ARTS CENTER MUST CANCEL ANY PROGRAM, FULL REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.
ENROLLED STUDENTS IN EACH SESSION MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR ALL PERFORMANCES.
