“I regard the theatre as the greatest of all art forms, the most immediate way in which a human being can share with another the sense of what it is to be a human being.” ~ Oscar Wilde

Believe it or not, the idea for this company was born on Wednesday, June 3, 2020. In his announcement of arrest charges for the murder of George Floyd; Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison mentioned twice that (among others) it’s up to the arts and entertainment arena to help affect and advance change in our society.

I LEAPT...and I mean LEAPT, FROM MY SEAT ONTO MY was as if he was talking directly to me through the television. THIS WAS THE SIGN for which I had been waiting all these years to ignite the creation of my purpose. Yes, 'Princeton'...I said PURPOSE!

I’m not really an “on the front lines” protest organizer kind of person, but rather one who ponders carefully what “lil’ ole me” can do to help make a difference. As always, the universe pointed me back to the theatre, and it got very real very quick. Theatre is what I know how to do and have been doing it for over 40 years - so that’s where my efforts needed to be focused.

As the COVID-19 pandemic raged on and on…and on; little by little I found my voice, took copious notes and decided to "plot and scheme" the creation of my own theatre company; taking bits and pieces from everything I've learned along the way. I'm hoping we can create a safe space for outside the box thinking and satisfy specific niches that aren’t currently being filled.

I will 100% acknowledge that a long, hard road is ahead; but I have to say I tried with all my heart and soul “to get into some good trouble”. To be honest, I think I’ve lost my mind...thinking I can start a theatre company so late in life; with all its inherent challenges, disappointments and constant obstacles. But down deep I'm a survivor and this is what I want my legacy to be for generations to come. I want to be proud of myself and you to be proud of us. However; slow and steady, meticulous and measured will win this let's make some theatre, good theatre!

If not us, then who? If not now, then when?”
